My dear readers!
Now I want to sum up my work with the book. I don't regret that I've chosen this book.The dead zone is a very good and spectacular novel. Two intertwining plot lines make you interested in the story during reading. Also author very easy and clear narrates the story and you don't have any difficulties with reading.
As for the blog, it has helped me to understand the book better. I think that writing posts is very beneficial way for other readers to understand and feel the story better, and also to choose this book for reading.
So, dear readers, I was glad to present you my book and I hope you liked it.

Best wishes,
Masha.

Dear readers!
Now I'd like to show you some aspects of culture reflected in the story.
It can help us understand the book better.
-People are very obsessed political life of the country. They attend every meeting with candidate, love and also worship them. As for politicians they can do everything to get power and also to kill somebody who interfere them.
-People's' appearance which is characterised culture in that time.
-Description of houses, towns.
-There are marks of cars mentioned which were in that time.
Hello,my dear readers!
I want to share with you what I like and dislike about this book.
What I liked about the story:
- the plot of this book is very exciting - in the book there are two plot lines which are intertwined throughout whole story;
- descriptions of the characters: how they look like, their action and behaviour, their feelings and emotions;
- the book consists of several parts and every of them has its own story and actions which happen there, but the chapters connected with each other;
- the book makes you interested from the first pages.
What I dislike about the story:
- plot tightened because of the political views on the world;
-in the book there is so big part is given for political actions. Sometimes it makes reading boring;
- several characters, for instance: Greg Stillson. He's really disgusting person;
- Sara's behaviour. In general she isn't bad person, but her actions are inexplicable( with Johnny).

Hello, everyone!
Today I want to tell you about filming the story.
Well, there are one film and one tv series based on this book.
I've watched the film by David Cronenberg which was filmed in 1983. Generally, the film isn't bad but I was expected more. Of course, there are many differences:
- The car crash isn't such as in the book because in the film Johnny was one in the car and he was driving not in the taxi.
-The second one is about local maniac, who was Frank Dod. At the end of his life he killed a young girl at the age of thirteen but in the film it's a young woman.
-The third one is about the boy Chuck ,for who Johnny was teaching literature. In the film Johnny predicted that Chuck could die at the ice rink but in the book he could die
in fire.
Also in the film there are nothing mentioned about ring which Sura has lost.
Despite on these differences the main idea of this novel was conveyed well and accessible.
Many of the characters look so as I've imagined.
Some of them you can see bellow:
Johnny Smith (Christopher Walken)

Frank Dod (Nicholas Campbell)

Sara (Brooke Adams)

Dr. Sam Weizak (Herbert Low)

Greg Stillson (Martin Sheen)

 Sheriff George Bannerman (Tom Skerrit)
